Upcycled French Market Basket with drawstring closure - New

This new basket was designed in Provence and entirely handcrafted by fair trade artisans in Madagascar using T-shirts offcuts woven with raffia.   The pieces off jersey are skillfully cut into pieces by local craftspeople who tie them and weave them with raffia.  Knots and irregularities are part of each creation making each basket unique.  The long leather handles fit nicely over the shoulder and the cotton drawstring top enables the content of your bag to remain secure.   Leather trim throughout and small concealed raffia pocket on the inside finish this basket beautifully.
