Handmade Jams, Chutneys & Preserves

Our wonderful range of Jams, Chutneys and Preserves are handmade by a small traditional business located in the rural Provencal village of Flassan at the foot of Mont Ventoux. These artisans spend all year round developing unique recipes in premises designed and adapted to this activity. Throughout the year, they select perfectly ripe, fresh seasonal produce, mainly grown locally. All the fruit and vegetables used in our preserves are mainly grown organically, hand- picked, and cooked in small quantities before being filled by hand.

Ketchup a la Provencale

Ketchup a la Provencale

This has to be the best table sauce I ever tasted!  A wonderful natural ketchup made with fresh tomatoes, herbs and spices and little added sugar.  Just delicious served with a homemade fish and chips!!!

Ingredients: tomato (79%), onion, sugar (4.4%), fennel, cider vinegar, salt, garlic, pepper, cloves, chilli.  Refrigerate after opening.


Confiture Extra Merevilles (220g)

Mereville Extra Jam (white watermelon grown in Provence) - GREAT TASTE AWARD WINNER 2013!

Prepared with 55g of fruit for 100g of finished product

Ingredients: Méreville (white Watermelon), sugar, orange & lemon.  Refrigerate after opening.


Raw Lavender Honey 500g

Miel de Lavande

Our Lavender Honey is made by bees fed on lavender blossoms found in Provence, on the slopes of Mont Ventoux.  It is not as easy as you might think to find real, raw (unpasteurised) lavender honey especially as during these past two year weather conditions have affected the harvests considerably. 

Pure Lavender honey, with its distinctive pale almost white colour and its creamy texture, is renowned for its unique delicate flavour and its anti-bacterial properties. 


Confiture Extra Citron aux Zestes Confits 220g

Lemon Jam with zests of lemon confit (220g)

A delicious lemon marmalade with zest of lemon confit.  Serve on toast or try using in savoury dishes such as lemon chicken (feel free to ask for a free copy of our recipes).

Ingredients: Lemons and Zests (57%), sugar.  This artisanal jam might contain the odd pip.  Refrigerate after opening.


Caviar d'Aubergine

Aubergine Spread

A delicious creamy dip made with fresh aubergine, garlic and lemon juice.  Enjoy on toast or as an accompaniment to salads.  Use a thin layer on a fillet of white fish with a drizzle of olive and some seasoning before cooking for 10 to 15mn.  Spread on crostinis with goat's cheese and grill for a few minutes before serving.

Ingredients: aubergine (90%), olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt. Refrigerate after opening.
